I would like to introduce this simple and yet so difficult word to practice in our day to day lives, the work “KIND” so that we truly understand it and use it to our advantage it is a doing word. Lol relax it’s not something that will change the price of break but change your life for the better when used wisely.
Truth be told when living with a mental health illness it can be very challenging and one has to really dig deep into your soul to be able to encourage yourself trust me I know it took years to get to where I am today and be able to write this for someone who needs it. Mental health illness is so annoying honestly because it often makes people angry, bitter and hate themselves because of the challenges they are faced with daily.
We disregard the fact that self-loathing is extremely painful and worsen one’s mental health because it creates constant feelings of guilt, hatred and low self-esteem to name a few and trust me there is no one in this world who can save you from self-hatred it has to come from you unfortunately self-love is not a group work you have to work towards truly loving yourself. When you love yourself there will be no room for self-hate period!
It is evident that in most cases we look down on ourselves and expect other people to look up to us, which is not practical at all. We become the worst critics of our bodies, we compare ourselves with other people I have noticed that I use this line in most of my articles because every time I do my research about any topic its always popping up which means it’s a common factor the deteriorates our mental health healing. We never get to see the good in us and believe me if you can literally sit down take a pan and paper and write good things about yourself in a relaxed environment you will hit yourself so hard for not seeing how great you are as an individual. We are all here to serve a purpose find yours and bask in it. The best part is that not all is lost lol you can relax here are some tips you can use to boost your mental health.
Tips on boosting your mental health…
- Take time to breath don’t take this technique lightly is works wonders because it helps you center yourself as your breath in and out.
- Give yourself some recognition.
- Forgive yourself
- Respect yourself
- Treat yourself
- Sooth yourself.
