Arundhati Banerjee a resident of Australia and an Indian by origin is a model, performing artist and humanitarian. She is trained in Indian classical forms and in western forms like contemporary, hip-hop, ballet and jazz. Arundhati is a title holder of Miss Teen Diamond Australia 2019 and has been recently awarded as a Lifetime Ambassador- Miss and Mr Diamond International and Australia for her relentless service to community, art, slow fashion, modelling and pageantry. Arundhati has won the most prestigious award-Inspiring Woman of the Year- Emerging Leader 2020 from Australia Day Council and Office for Women on Australia Day. She has been covered by one of the leading newspapers in Australia by the name -Advertiser. She has recently been awarded by NRI Highflyer 2021.
She has been recognized by the International Woman of the Year 2019 and 2021, Elite Club towards her work in entrepreneurship. She has been awarded as Asia’s Pride 2021 by Digital India and Niti Ayog. She is awarded by International Film & Entertainment Festival Australia in New South Wales Parliament for her contribution to Multiculturalism in Australia. Arundhati, apart from winning the title of Miss Teen Diamond Australia 2019, has received several accolades for her humanitarian service and area of performing arts which include felicitation by Seven News-Young Achiever Award for Creativity, Youth Icon Award by HOTA, Humanitarian of the Year Award by MDIA in collaboration with Australian Golden Sash Awards and was felicitated by Padmashree Saalumarada Thimmakka as an International Young Star Award organized by Cubbon Park Walkers association in collaboration with Karnataka Government (India). She has also received congratulatory letters from the Premier for her contribution to the community in South Australia.
One of the noteworthy causes that she has spearheaded is raising awareness and charity to an amount of AUD $3852 towards e. motion21, an organization supporting down-syndrome young adults and children through the medium of dance. This was raised through social media campaigns, media presence, community and cultural activities and her debut production Dancing Sutra in Southern Hemisphere’s most sought out festival Fringe 2019. She has been bestowed with the membership of International Dance Council-Partnered with UNESCO and has been invited to perform in Hollywood, New York, and Canada towards winning prestigious dance competitions from US, Australia, Europe, and Canada. She won the prestigious silver medal for Australia in the World Championship of Performing Arts. She has been the Youth Jury Member for the Adelaide International Youth Film Festival 2019. She has been actively contributing to several social and economic causes such as Eradicating HungerFoodbank, Homelessness-Cold Plunge, Fight against Cancer-Cancer Council and CanTeen. She has been covered as a Cover Model and featured in leading magazines and media houses nationally and internationally.
